The VjAcademy was founded in 2007 by media company Sense Studios, who wanted to boost the profession by introducing the art of VJing to a wider audience. We’d say they did a pretty good job so far! VjAcademy is the oldest and best known VJ education program in the Netherlands. Sense started out as a VJing collective as well, performing at clubs like De Winkel van Sinkel in Utrecht and Simplon in Groningen, as well as Amsterdam’s Wicked Jazz Sounds festival.
