Meet VJ Stieneke Dijkstra, whom we like to call: ‘The Queen in the North’. That's where she lives and rules from her residency in Leeuwarden (Frisia). If there is a serious party in one of the northern provinces of the Netherlands, chances are she’s the one making sure it’s every inch as visually stunning as anything happening in Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Colourful, fast, high energy: you just can’t sit still watching her perform. Small wonder she excels in the more energetic music styles like hardstyle, e.g. at BKJN Indoor / Outdoor (Mainstage), or working with The Prophet and Radical Redemption. This doesn’t stop her from surprising the mostly Urban style Fris Parties in her realm with fresh happy eye candy, and recently working with Fedde LeGrand on the stunning North Sea Isle of Texel.
