VJ: Image mixing
Live animations and projections are everywhere: from an episode of The Voice to a Beyoncé concert or even a museum exhibition. A VJ (Video Jockey) mixes custom videos and special effects to match the performing artist. Together with the DJ, musicians, dancers, actors and lighting crew, they provide a fantastic sensory experience. Through our workshops, you and your friends, classmates, or colleagues can learn how to do just that. You’ll even create your very own show!

Team up into small groups and spend anywhere from a few hours to a full day coming up with, creating, and performing your very own show. Of course, each group will be guided by one of our experienced VJing coaches. Dive into the creative process or learn more about the technical side, depending on your group’s age, basic knowledge, and interests. We also provide masterclasses for more experienced groups!

Your workshop leaders
All workshops are provided by VJ Academy, the #1 VJing institute in the Netherlands. Our workshop teachers are experienced performers and VJ coaches, who have earned their stripes at Lowlands festival, Dance Valley, Amsterdam Dance Event, Dutch primetime talk show De Wereld Draait Door, and the Van Gogh Museum. We are an accredited industrial placement company, and several of our teachers hold a Master’s degree in Arts Education. We also have an ongoing partnership with the Dutch Cultural Participation Fund (FCP) and CJP.
